Meet our founder, Melinda!

Melinda is a purpose-driven marketer with a passion for creative storytelling and innovation. She is always up for an adventure, and is rarely seen without a smile on her face! She holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Pepperdine University. 

Melinda has over 7+ years of experience driving growth and engagement for a variety of brands across travel, lifestyle, entertainment, tech and fashion. She started her career in brand agencies working with clients including Soul Cycle, Restoration Hardware, Sugar Paper Los Angeles, UNICEF and Waldorf Astoria. From there, she joined Hulu’s publicity team where she led national campaigns for their original content, including Emmy Award-Winning show, “The Handmaid’s Tale.” 

Following her tenure at Hulu, she pivoted to FabFitFun’s Influencer Marketing team, where she built out a new marketing strategy role, and worked on their largest Spring campaign to date. Most recently, she contributed to the success of Marriott International’s boutique lifestyle hotel collections, Autograph Collection and Tribute Portfolio, as a member of their Global Brand Management team. 

Melinda founded Launch Collaborative to share her expertise in marketing strategy, social media and publicity to help brands grow and expand their presence in unique and creative ways. Through working with a diverse array of companies, she understands that every brand is unique and different, and aims to create marketing solutions that celebrate that!
